About Sinan Unur
I did my undergrad at the Middle East Technical Universtiy where I earned my B.Sc. in Economics. I also have an M.Sc. in Economics from METU with a thesis on Nash implementation of social choice rules, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Cornell University. My doctoral dissertation looked at intra-family transfers using experimental economics methods. These days, most of my work is in economics of health care and involves large private and public health care insurance data sets.
You can find me answering questions related to Perl and other programming topics on Stackoverflow. The outbox is where I put my opinions, analysis and general rants about nothing in particular and everything in general. It is not a blog. ν42 is focused on programming and information technology topics. I also occasionally blog for O'Reilly, Perl Maven, and Perl Tricks.
I am working on an online Turkish pronunciation guide to help people master basic Turkish phrases.
I am also always re-arranging my photo album.
